Thanks guys.....I got through it! Xxx really appreciate all of your replies and support. Xxx Tina
Hi Tina,
Thinking of you today and sending you love and best wishes. It will soon be over. I didn't have the dye injections but had the wires and it all sounds worse than it actually is. I didn't have a pre med which i was pleased about because they can make you more groggy when you wake up. I finished rads last Monday and I am going to my caravan in Blackpool for a few days of chilling out.
Hope you are ok and I will catch up with you later.

Hi Tina,
I hope everything goes well for you today- waiting is really difficult and at least this time tomorrow it will be over. I had a lumpectomy and node biopsy last week so I know how you are feeling. I also had the same dye and wires! I was really anxious the few days before surgery but felt a lot calmer on the day so I hope you are too. You will be in good hands!!
For me, it made the diagnosis of BC feel more real but I am trying to remain positive that with my chemo over and surgery too then radiotherapy is the last piece of the jigsaw!
Thinking of you.
Kate

Thanks for your reassurance guys....... Xxx soon be over. Hugs Tina
Good luck Tina, will be thinking of you today. I was also last on the list, both times, I tried to snooze for a while (having not slept the night before!), flicked through a few magazines, tried watching TV in the day room, chatted to the nurses and other patients. The time will go, though slowly. By this time tomorrow it will all be done! You will be fine, I promise. Big hugs. Xxxxxxxx
Hi Tina,
my op was on 30 th December 2013, but still remember it vividly. I didn't get a pre med either, but the staff were all lovely and really put my mind at rest. From the porters who took me to nuclear medicine for my dye injections, to the theatre and ward staff, they were all professional and caring. All the best for tomorrow and I know that all will go well for you. Big hugs Ann x x
On ward since 2 today, facing more things than expected...... Can't remember half of what I was told two weeks ago, so the mention of dye injections in nipple area, more scans and wires inserted have got me more stressed! And that's before I get the anaesthetic!
Not able to get a pre med either due to having to be alert for all the other stuff beforehand. And I'm last on the list for the day! 😏 And talk of drains is turning my stomach.
So all you lovely people on here who have supported me so far, please pray for me tomorrow as I'm sooooooo. Scared! Fasting as of 10:30 tonight though I've not managed much today anyway! Hope to be in theatre by 3:30 and back on ward by 7. Xxxx Tina
