I would also recommend Nicola Jane. I use a partial prosthetic to balance up my lack of symmetry, so wanted a pocketed swimsuit in case Bertha went bobbing away. The swimsuit also comes up a hit higher in front, which was great for me as I'm a bit selfconscious about showing cleavage, and I need to keep the radiated area out of the sun.
Nicola Jane do a really good range including extra body length, and there are some great designs. They're also very good at returns.
If you swim frequently as I do then Nicola Jane do great chlorine resistant swimsuits at really good prices
about half the cost of brands like Amoena Good website and delivery service-have never had to return anything
Best Wishes to all
There's also a mastectomy brand called Clover Lewis Swimwear. They're great because they're really stylish and affordable. Plus, Clover Lewis herself, had a mastectomy, so she understands what women need when it comes to comfortable mastectomy swimwear.
Just further info for future reference Womanzone are good for mastectomy swimwear too. Bit less pricey than Amoena. Do some lovely cossies, tankinis, etc.
Happy swimming, ladies
Hi Bev 😁 I had a mastectomy in December and can highly recommend the Aqua Knitted knocker inside a mastectomy swimming cossy. I got my cossy from Ameona for about £40, bit pricey but I love it. It's chlorine resistant too.
I digress! 😁 If you go on the Knitted knocker website via Google you can request an aqua Knitted knocker in your bra size made especially for swimming. They are beautiful, really comfortable and gave me great confidence when swimming last week on hols. They are free too but you can make a donation if you like. It comes in a lovely organza bag. They are stuffed with shower scrunchie material so dry really well after swimming. I love mine. Hope that helps xxx
