Ladies, I am over 3yrs clear now but have had a letter from GP to call me for the jab. I am wondering why I am on a priority list - dont consider my immune system as low as not having any treatment other than Tamoxifen. I did have node removal though. would appreciate any comments, thanks. vez xxx

I was at my GP for something else and inquired about the swine flu jab. He did not seem to think I was in the priority group,
(63 years of age) but had no problem with me having it.
When the nurse was giving me the jab she seemed to think I should get it and also asked if I had had the normal flu jab. If I had not had it, she would have given both at the same time.
I have the flu jab earlier in the year in work.

Not sure if this helps, but I had both swine flu and flu jab almost 6 months post chemo.
I am aware that the rules are being refined. My 6 year old was supposed to have two half doses and before the second one was due the rules had changed and it was decided not to give the second dose. Best to check with your GP surgery or your local PCT if they have an information contact.
