Re: Swollen ankles

Thank you for your reply Tweasel, your reply helps, it's good to know I'm not on my own. I have a pre op tomorrow so will mention it to them. I have a feeling I may have overdone the exercising, that's what I'm hoping xx

Re: Swollen ankles

Hi. My ankles also swelled after FEC-T. They were fine first thing in the morning but swelled up during the day.   I can't remember how long it took to clear up, but it does help to elevate your feet as much as you can - ideally, they should be higher than your pelvis. I would mention it to your BCN or onc if you're concerned as you can be given diuretics if needed. I admire you for cycling - I felt exhausted for quite a while after chemo xx

Swollen ankles

Hi, I finished 6 rounds of FEC-T 3 weeks ago, I am trying to be active by walking and cycling. My ankles have started to swell, there is no pain and wondered if anyone else has experienced this.
