Hi all iv recently had my surgery and I’m awaiting my radiotherapy,i am taking tamoxifen and sat in the garden doing the crossword for around an hour the other day,i burnt like a crisp,i didn’t have any sun screen on but I wouldn’t have normally unless it was very hot,and I wouldn’t normally burn,iv only been taking the tomoxifen for just over a week does anyone think it could be that?
I don’t know if there is any proper evidence on this, but anecdotally I can confirm that I have ‘reacted’ much more strongly to the sun this year on tamoxifen. I have actually gone much browner than usual, but I did have a bit of burning on a few days which I wouldn’t not have usually had. Anyone else?
