Did you have Chemotherapy Kiki Boo. I went to a routine check up at the start of my Chemo (November 2012) and my dentist said that Chemo can seriously damage the saliva glands and lead to increased decay. I have seen him every 3 months since then, have been prescribed flouride toothpaste throughout and he continues to recommend it along with minute 'bottle brushes' (I'm sure they've got another name) that clean between my teeth.
Hi Don't understand why radiotherapy for breast cancer could cause this, was your neck region treated? It's not mentioned in side effects. I would think its coincidence
