Re: Thought get I was coping well... now not sure

Rosie

When I was waiting for my diagnosis I tried as much as possible to carry on as normal, I did tell some people at work and also a couple of ladies in my bowls club BUT it is not easy and I think you just have to take each day at a time at the moment.

Have you a particular friend that you can talk to about it who would be able to support you on the not so good days whilst you are waiting?

Remember we are always here for you and we will help and support you in whatever way we can whilst you are waiting because we know exactly what you are going through and you will usually find someone on here in the wee small hours to talk to.

Sending you hugs and a pair of our tough pants to help you through, they have very deep pockets so that we can all get in and be beside you

Hi the waiting is the worst, every day seems like a week, my mind runs away with me, thinking the ‘cancer’ will be growing whilst I’m waiting, I talk to people and am trying to carry on with life as normal as possible, I am seeing the surgeon Tuesday to measure up and discuss implants, with hopefully 🤞surgery on the 18th! I have never cried as much in my life, the slightest thing from out of the blue, then have moments of positivity. Uncertainty, waiting, wondering xxx

Thought get I was coping well... now not sure

Hi

What ways are people finding to cope with the waiting?

should I talk to people, friends etc or play it all down and just get on with things till I know for sure?

Any advice greatly received xxx
