Travel tips

Hi everyone,

I’m off on holiday abroad for the first time since this all kicked off and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on what to take with me ‘just in case’. I am currently having weekly chemo and I have lymphoedema. We’re only going to the canaries so not off the beaten track but my husband is a worrier so I want to try and make sure I have all bases covered. Thought this might be useful to others too so have started it as a new thread.

So far all I can think of is:

Alcohol hand wash for out and about,

Course of antibiotics just in case,

Antihistamines,

First aid kit,

Anything else? Xxx

Hi,yippee to holiday.
Get a letter from GP saying what meds you are on incase they are morphine based.i got a list of drugs I was on and stating I was his patient and on those drugs. I had no problems with USA .

Also take your chemo (red book) just incase you have to go to hospital

I took antibiotics too.

Anti bacterial wipes just incase maid is a dodgy cleaner! I wiped bed side cabinet and door handles and around sink( I was obsessed she would use same cloth, but I’m a bit OCD when cleaning )

Also wipes (travel size) when out for tables etc.and aircraft table !!

You seem to be covered with what your taking.
If you have a blue badge take incase you get car,as valid for Europe .
Have a wonderful time,hugs,Helen xxxxx

Great news Ellie when are you off ?

Hi
