I am with Boa on this too. What she says is so true. I found the waiting very nerve racking. It is easy to read into things and then they play on your mind. Whatever you got back from the radiographer, it is not they who look at the scans, it is passed to someone else with knowledge of how to read the scan who then asesses the situation and this is passed onto your Consultant in a report. I wish you luck and will be thinking of you.
The waiting is the worst part but it will soon be over. What I found is that it is very easy to read things into our experiences. From what I understand whilst ultrasound is useful it is not the best way to 'see' things so I think that the consultant and radiographer will want all the test results before they are able to tell you what is happening. If you need treatment a plan will be put in place very quickly. I think that you are right to keep occupied while you wait. It helped me.
