I have been told i can shower after mx on fri as just got glue on incision. But what about 2 holes from drains? They just have gauze and tape. Cant ring my nurse til tomorrow. Is it safe to wash? Thanks
When I had my final 2 drains taken out, the district nurse didn’t put a dressing over the holes, saying that they wouldn’t need one, but told me I could shower immediately. First shower in 10 days was wonderful!
Probably best to check though! x
had back drain out tues had lovely shower wed (8 days after op) felt great just dab dressing dry good luck xx
