Hi Annie, Newcastle was my other option for radiotherapy - choice of travelling north or south for about the same amount of time, but hubby works mostly in Middlesbrough so it makes sense to cadge a lift to James Cook when I can.
We lived in Newcastle for three years and Northumberland for seven - still have friends up there and visit when we can. Give my love to the Toon.
Newcastle, so we're neighbours. I had my WLE at RVI, and my chemo and rads will be at the Freeman. I'm starting chemo on 4 May, but having a venous central line put in on 3 as its a nightmare finding a vein!
