Just had results back from biopsy confirms Her 2 pos now got to add heceptin chemo. I still have 5 sessions to go follwed by masectomy and rads. Its now seeming like a much longer journey! I have been offered. a lwer dose of heceptin weekly or to have the full dose 3weekly. My gut reaction was weekly but think 3 weekly may be better .My ongologist is moving to Nicossia where I wilk have to go for rads. we live 2 hrs away. I would be grateful for any advice.
Hey Rosie, me again…I was not given a choice just told would be having it every 3wks for a year. Indont know what truth is in it but just read today a lady saying that her side effects were less having it weekly!, I read that else where , other than that im not much help.I dont know enough about it. Ask your oncologist what the difference is and let me know what he says 
wow 2 hours is a long drive when rads are every day !!!
