has anyone had lower back ache with tamoxifen have had arealy bad back since starting on it

Yes! There are a small number of us who seem to get lower back pain - mine was/is mostly around my coccyx area. It began about two months after I started Tam and peristed for about four before it vanished. Now I find I get some around what I assume are my oestrogen dips.
I also have tendinopathy in my thumbs (a very rare side effect so far as I can ascertain) and like a lot of ladies am stiff first thing in the morning.
Can I usggest you discuss your back pain with your BCN or GP… I did because I was at the paranoid stage… My BCN was brill, asked me to describe the pain, asked loads of questions then reassured me it was ‘the wrong kind of pain’. I am happy that she was right.
I hope your back soon feels better and that you feel the Tam is worth the hassle - for me it is a no-brainer as I am ‘high risk’ and I’d rather have sore thumbs than cnacer.
