Hi im new and im 44
ive had blood from my right nipple , been to hospital had a mammogram and an ultrasound , both were clear
i now have to have a sub areolar biopsy which im booked infor on monday for a diagnosis , im so worried and feel so empty and alone even though i have a great family
my mother had breast cancer at 48 ,
any one else experienced anything like this ?
surgeon said 95%are ok 5% are not

Well, it’s good the mammo & u/s are clear & although it is stressful to go through, it is also good they are being thorough by doing the biopsy.
If you can, just go by what the surgeon said & easier said than done, try to carry on as normal & distract yourself until the appointment. It’s the waiting that is always the pits when going through this & the mind does go into overdrive - we’ve all been there at some point.
Mostly, all turns out to be well, but if on the off chance it is bc, then the sooner its dealt with the better.
