You are probably osteopenic, which means your bone density is lower than it should be and could potentially develop into osteoporosis. This is what I was told and was prescribed calcium and Vit D daily.

Hi I have just had my 6 month checks, had a bone density scan and they said my calcuim levels were low and have started me on calcuim sandoz and actonel weekly but when i asked did i have osteterporsis they said no so i dont understand, i am post menopause and 3 years post bc thanks
