I suffered with terrible hot sweats for 2 years, and found the chillow pillow rapidly became my best friend!! A wonderful invention and well worth every penny. I have cats, but I learnt to hide it under pillows or in drawers whilst not in use (which wasn't often!)
I hope you gain much relief, and although I started to think it would never happen...hot flushes DO eventually stop!
Best wishes,
Jax
Thanks for the thread. I've ordered one from Amazon today.
I haven't sweated at all since tax in August, but keep getting hot flushes during the day and too unbearably hot at night. Just started zoladex and arimidex a month ago, so that's probably the cause, as its been noticeably worse. What with waking up at least twice a night to go to the loo, and night heats and then shivers, I'm hoping that I might finally get some sleep. Can't wait until it arrives. No cats, but 4 year old will be very curious.
Thanks everyone.

It was my oncologist who recommended them, but she did point out that they were problematic if you had cats, since their claws tend to puncture the chillows. I got mine through Amazon. I think there are now smaller travel ones...
hi all thanks for your tips i will look into them tc everyone and thanks again xx
I couldn,t go to bed without my chillow now.Infact I am going to visit my daughter in New Zealand next month and she ordered me one from Australia.I got mine from Amazon and I am going to order another one.I love, love, love it.I find it is cold enough without putting it in the fridge.Try it,you wont be disappointed.
A friend of mine gave me a chillow and it is now my best friend at night. My hot flushes are better now but at their worst I could have done with two as I seemed to warm it up really quickly. One is enough for me now.

I resisted buying one for ages, but they are the reason that I now usually sleep through the night. I actually have two now, which I swap around on the nights when I'm getting bigger hot flushes. They are very fuss-free. I don't put mine in the fridge (although you can) and they just live in a pillow slip...
I bought mine through Amazon
I've used one for about five years and can't sleep without it. I always have two on the go and halfway through the night I swap them. I bought direct from Chillow and got a discount for buying two. (can't remember how much.) Apparently there are some fake ones on the market now.
