Been advised yesterday that I am having tac x 6. The onc was sceptical about the cap with TAC, she said it could have worked quite well with Fec or Tax but not so much with the TAC. My bcn said a few people who have tried have been successful but not as many as other regimes. Any positive TAC stories ? X
Sorry can’t help you with your cold cap question. Was never made aware that it was an option when I was going through chemo. However did come across Heather’s Hair. www.heathershair.co.uk which kept me sane as had fine hair to start with so wearing my wig made me feel very self conscious. However wearing my HH weave, no one knew anything was wrong with me unless I chose to tell them and as it was so similiar to my own hair even my family were able switch off the knowledge anything was up with me every now and then.
