core biopsy

Hi there

 

I have just read the cancer blog of a friend’s friend, which was clever and full of humour, except for one thing, her core biopsy which was the most horrendously painful experience she has ever had and that was WITH a local anaesthetic!!! Am not looking forward to one of those if necessary! Has anyone else had such a bad experience?

Also, can a benign growth, or even a cyst, be responsible for the pulling in of the skin which causes an indentation?

My appt is getting close now and the countdown is getting more disturbing.

For any breast change, there can be a benign reason for it & mostly that is what’s reported here.
My experience of having a biopsy was straightfoward, not everyone’s experience is the same.
It will all get sorted out.
