Re: ct scan

Hi FJ

Try not to worry too much. The fact they only found cancer cells in 2 of the original 3 they first removed. Is a good sign. I had 4 removed all containing cells, then had a clearance where they found 3 more with Cancer cells. I was REALLY worried about the CT scan, but mine was all clear.

Not sure if you know what treatment you are having next. But just remember even IF they find cells elsewhere they can still treat it. It's NOT the end of the world, even if it feels like it sometimes.

Sending you a gentle hug.

ct scan

Hi, this is my first posting.

Have grade 3 BC found by routine mammogram, age 53.

Tumour 1.8 m removed by wide local excision a month ago and just had full aux clearance as 2 out of 3 nodes found to be affected.

Feel ok physically, coping with drain (out on Friday) its just the waiting for the results of the node clearance i.e. how many affected and then go for a ct scan Monday to check if secondaries.

Very worried if spread, Results next Tuesday.
