Great to hear that you are doing so well. I have metaplastic, triple negative BC. I was frightened when they told me how rare this thing is but am now back to being positive. Diagnosed at the end of January and surgery for wide local excision and lymph node biopsy was done on 14/02. I’m recovering well from the surgery but next appointment on Friday this week and I’m beginning to feel anxious already. I’m trying to think of it as one step at a time but it seems a very long road. Have to have chemo and radiotherapy.
Its good to hear about people still doing well years on gives us all hope x

Diagnosed 4 weeks ago with both, getting mixed answers to questions.

So sorry for young families ,I'm in my seventies but still will fight.

I was diagnosed in Feb, had a Wide local excision in April, good margins and clear lymph nodes. Chemo started in May. 7 cycles, 3 of EC chemo and 4 of paclitaxol every 2 weeks. Last one is in 2 weeks time, then radiotherapy. My tumour was a mixed squamous and adenocarcinoma. I have good days and bad days, it's scary, wished I had a more common type of breast cancer and not triple negative! Even better would be not to have it all.
