Sorry I don’t know if you can develop a further cancer whilst on chemo.

Have you contacted your B.C.nurse?

I am sure they will be able to advise you.

Thinking of you and sending support

Hi badjaffa,

I too found a lump in my opposite breast about halfway through chemo. I was terrified that the chemo was doing nothing and that it had come back already. I had an ultrasound scan and they deemed the lump to be a cyst. My BCN said that it is extremely unusual for it to come back whilst on chemotherapy. I would speak to your BCN and pop along for them to hopefully put your mind at rest.
Good luck with the rest of your chemo.
Take care,
K xx
