hi all im on xeloda and my hair is really dark nearly blk have ask bcn if i can colour it but she sd only veg dyes or henna as i norm have bleach highlights was just wondering what anyone else as used or any tips u can offer with having highlights now many thanks laura
HI Laura, check out Trevor Sorbie hairdressers website - I was always told nothing with bleach, just your naturals but trevor knows everything to do with hair!! You can google him and his special hair stuff for people on chemo comes up. all the best
I doubt you’ll be able to have highlights Laura as the only way to lighten is to use chemicals.
An excellent vegetable based dye is Daniel Field, I have used it in the past and it’s very gentle and gives the hair shine. Here’s a link to what Daniel says regarding chemo and treating your hair.
