So sorry for your loss.
Poppy, well done for finding the strength to stand up and read a poem. As for your Brother and Sister... That is awful and you so dont need that at this time. Unfortunately, they are probably angry and hurting at the los of your Mother and taking that anger and hurt out on you.
You say you got closer to you Mum in the final months and that is what is important. What ever happened in the past is just that, in the past. Try not to dwell on what they are saying or thinking and instead allow yourself time to grieve for your Mother.

All was spoilt at the weekend by my brother, tearing into me on the phone, how crap the funeral was, how crap as a daughter i was,,vile, then my sisters joins in. .so not a nice time xx

Hello Poppy, We have all been thinking of you and holding you and all your family in our thoughts. No words to say that will make anything appear or look any brighter at the moment but reading your first post again I am glad that you and your Mum became very close , that would have been a source of great comfort to her. Hello Poppy, so sorry to read of your Mum's death, but as you say, she is now out of pain. From what you say, it sounds as if she made the most of her time and I am sure you have many special memories that will, in time, be a source of comfort.

You will be very busy just now with all the funeral arrangements, and I am sure you will celebrate her life as you say your 'farewell' to her. Be gentle with yourself, and make sure you have time and space to grieve properly. There is no 'right' way to express our loss, just the way that works for us.

Hello Poppy, This is a sad time for you as you have your own diagnosis to deal with as well! I have been to 4 funerals over the last 3 to 4 weeks and they do leave you feeling drained but we must celebrate the life of the person we have lost. My mom passed away 11th nov, after 3 year battle with cancer
3years ago, dx breast cancer, , had two wle, then massectomy, mom was doing great
Then i fine a lump and im dx with breast cancer
Not long before my rads ended may 2011 we find mom has a new primary ureter cancer, 2 years to live
Down hill after 6 months. Perminate pain through spread to nodes which were resting on nerves in spine
I hate that mom suffered, but knowing she was terminal allowed her to put house in order, n gave us time to become very closr
I miss her so much, and even though im glad she is with her mom n dad and out of pain, i feel lost, and heartnroken
