well mum been to hspital today - she was supposed to start her herceptin.she got thre and her dr called her in and said that her treatment plan has changed she wont be having Taxotere she has been put on weekly Taxol as the Dr said the taxotere more than likely would hospitalise her. Also having been told she was on the trial on Monday they have now said she isnt so wont be having Avastin. They have also now confirmed she has some spots in her liver too so wondering if this is why they’ve changed the treatment?

thanks everyone, she went to hospital yday to have her 1st chemo and Herceptin and met a new dr and asked him a lot of questions so shes feeling a lot better about it all today. also now she has been assigned a BCN so if she thinks of any further questions she has a port of call.
