my sister is on tykerb trial and has just finished her second cycle. She is really unwell with sore hands, very yellow in colour and in tremendous pain in liver area. I don’t know whether it’s the chemo or whether her liver tumours are active again. Has anybody any ideas? She has been on herceptin but this has stopped due to trial.

Have you tried typing ‘tykerb trial’ in the search section and highlight the comments circle?. I saw a very interesting thread about this a few weeks ago. I didn’t know much about it and to be honest can only remember the name of the trail but you may find an answer to your query.
