Hi Marleyann
that's great that you have your date. Now you know when it'll all start. There are loads of threads on here with tips for surgery, what to take etc.
keep yourself busy, it can take your mind off things, get as much done in the house as you can. You will have to take it easy after the op. No 'hoovering' for weeks so as much as you can get done before is great. I stocked up with recorded tv and books so I could veg out on the sofa after my op. I'm not great at doing nothing.
I hope the time passes quickly for you.

Hi Marleyann welcome.
I really feel for you, it's a horrible time and I am sure you are very scared and worried.
Do you have any details on your diagnosis yet? Until you find out what you are dealing with and the treatment your mind is in overdrive.
post on here whenever you feel the need and the helpline is great for info and support.
We have all been there and try and help out as much as we can. Things might feel very black right now but you will get through this.
take care
