Hi dh, I've been looking for you as we hadn't heard how you got on Tuesday. I see there's another hurdle in the way for you, such a crappy disease. Does your treatment plan change ? I'll be with you all the way Lisa x
DH, stay strong. It is terrible time when we hear about metastatic disease but with the help of our little community, our doctors, our faith we manage to support each other, stay sane and dare I say enjoy life.
Best wishes and fellow suffer hugs.

That should have said "onc" at the end sorry. X
Hi dh,
Really sorry that you have received this news. However try to stay positive. I was diagnosed with lung Mets 2 and a half years ago and they have remained relatively stable in that time. I was told I had Mets to liver in Dec and have been having chemo which has reduced these.
Look for stories of inspiration when you are feeling low. This helps me. There is a lady being treated in Manchester who was DX with liver Mets in 2005 when she was 27. She is still well today. And there are many others. New treatments are coming out all the time so try to research as much as you can so that you know what questions to ask when you see the one etc.
Take care. Love Sheila. Xx
Hi dh
I am sorry to read of you're recent diagnosis. I'm sure some of the other users will be a long soon to offer you their experiences and support.
In the meantime if you need to talk things through do give the BCC helpline a call on 0808 800 6000. Here you can share your feelings and concerns with someone who will offer you a listening ear as well as emotional support and practical information. Lines are open Monday to Friday 9 to 5pm and Saturday 10 to 2pm.
Best wishes Sam, BCC Facilitator
