Well what a day finally got my results eventhough I had expected the
news I had heard. Been advised today that I will need 6 cycles of chemo
that being Epirubicin. taxotere. and cmf. really scared but know it has to be
done. All begins on 21.10.08. I am sure there will be lots of people out there
who can give me lots of advise. How long are you at the hospital for generally.
Can anyone tell me of a good hat/scarf supplier in the Birmingham area.
For me it depended on how busy they were and how quickly my bloods came back.
The actual administration of FEC took just over an hour, taxotere took almost 2 hours. You have the anti-sickness drugs i/v first.
It also depends on whether you intend to use a cold cap or not (I didn’t)
I used a lot of buffwear dot co dot uk head coverings as they have no seams which was good when my hair was falling out as my scalp was sore.
