Re: on 3rd FEC - had Bi-MX with recon and have milky liquid coming from nipple!!!

Hi rachelirwin,

I am afraid I don't know the answer to your question but I can point you in the direction of those who can help. First of all, contact your breast care nurses and/or your chemo team at your hospital.  I don't know if this is a side effect or what but it you need to discuss it with them and they may be able to reassure you.

Also, there's the email/phone service offered by Breast Cancer Care here: https://www.breastcancercare.org.uk/information-support/support-you/someone-talk/email-our-nurses I've used them several times and can't praise them highly enough.  Give them a call.

As well, have you looked in on the July chemo thread?  Might be worth reposting your message there https://forum.breastcancercare.org.uk/t5/Chemotherapy-monthly-threads/July-2016-starters/td-p/102625... as this is a group of people who also started their chemo in July.

There's also the Triple Negative forum who I'm sure will be very supportive: https://forum.breastcancercare.org.uk/t5/Triple-negative/bd-p/4453

I really hope that helps and I hope you get some answers soon,

on 3rd FEC - had Bi-MX with recon and have milky liquid coming from nipple!!!

Hi there everyone.
I had bilateral mastectomy with nipple sparing in June. Started chemo in July and I'm now half way through.
I noticed some staining on my bra this morning and when I checked there was a milky liquid coming from it. I can squeeze it and more comes out. Should this be the case?? Surely if both breast and all tissue is away there shouldn't be any ducts to make milk. I'm scared.
I have triple negative cancer.
Any advice is welcome.
