have had pleural effusions drained twice, had pleuredisis done in February, but was one of the failures! Now have pleural catheter fitted and am being drained twice a week at home. Has anyone else had anything like this? Am draining approx 500mls per week but still feel breathing isn't too great - will it stay like this, also have this tickly cough. Does anyone know if I am able to fly short-haul with this drain fitted? Any information would be much appreciated
