radiotherapy once a week, 5 treatments

Hello,

 

has anyone here been trough radiotherapy once a week and 5 treatments? Maybe someone who was in the UK FAST TRIAL? I’m looking for information about this therapy. I’m from Belgium and I’m asked to be in a trial with possible prone radiation and/or 5 treatments once a week instead of the usual 19 treatments 5 times a week. They reffered to a UK study with good results for the 5 treatments once a week. I hope to find out more.

Hello Ladies,

 

I am having my last Radiotherapy today thank goodness, apart from feeling really tired, I am not suffering with any burns or redness, this maybe due to all the cream I apply everyday which really must help.

 

Can I asked anyone who has finished when the tiredness goes away.  I have worked full time throughout my treatment, however I am feeling its too much now, and just want to go home to bed.  

 

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all of you who have posted on here, its really helped.
