well just back from clinic good news they give me a mammogram and said it was clear but didnt explain wat the lump was in my breast or under my arm or why my nipple keeps inverting she told me to keep an eye out for any changes i asked wat the lumps and swelling was and she just said the mammogram was clear so im just gonna put it behind me and just watch out for any other signs and id like to say a big thankyou for all your support xxx

tt74, the symptoms you have described - including the inverted nipple - can all be signs of breast cancer. You need to get this checked out as soon as possible. If it is nothing, or benign, the check will give you peace of mind. If it is cancer, the sooner you get treatment the better. I know it is scary, but you really are doing the right thing getting it checked.

hi tt74, not sure about the nipple as mine is ok but found lump in breast and under arm, mine turned out to be invasive ductal breast cancer with node between lungs affected as well. so do go to your appointment may turn to be nothing but you need to get it checked, asap.

I echo what the others have said. Go and get it checked out....most breast lumps are nothing to worry about. You are NOT wasting their time. All lumps need to be checked.

PLEASE GO TO THE APPOINTMENT..you need to get this checked out and as the other ladies have said..eary intervention has the best results..that is what the NHS is there for...best wishes..hoping it's nothing

as nannabarb says above, just go to the appointment, the fact that you have logged onto the forum means you are thinking about what it could be, dont scare yourself. they are efficient fast and you will know straightaway. dont read too much , we all have lots of funny lumps and you are doing the right thing, just keep sharing your thoughts, when you need to. there is a great bunch of ladies here, they are so supportive.

Hi tt74, Welcome to the forum.
You are not wasting yours or anyone else' time. If you get this checked out and all is well, that will be great news and a weight off your mind. On the other hand if you dont go, it will niggle away at you and always be on your mind.
If it is BC, it is better that it is diagnosed sooner rather than later, as early intervention has better results.

hi i am new to thos but was looking some advice a few weeks ago i noticed that my right nipple was inverted but it does not stay inverted only sometimes i went to the dr she said i have a lump in my right breast she said it was a breast mouse but she noticed thickening under my right arm pit and reffered me to the breast clinic i hav an appointment next monday i hav also found a lump in my right arm pit im worried that this is nothing and im going to b wasting the dr time
