hi all.
was dx with stage 1 grade 1 bc the end of 2009 age 40. ive been on zoladex and tamoxifen for a year now. didnt have many side effects in the begining. but as time goes on my side effects seem to be getting worse eg mood swings, headaches,fuzzy mind, not feeling with it, early menopause. not had a period for a year and just the other day had brown discharge.if anyone had these side effects would love to hear about how you coped. thanks gaynor
I get awful side effects with tamoxifen, very dizzy, tired achy to name but a few. I decided on 6th january to lose some weight and have lost 1 stone to date, it’s very hard to lose weight on this drug but thought it would make me feel better, well mentally it has but physically im just the same. Hay ho 3 years to go !!! then off this drug… x
