Re: unusal swelling

For Marylebone I have started a new thread for you in the reconstructive surgery room with your post 'distended and swollen still' as it will be read by others who may have had similar experiences to you. I hope you don't mind.

Kind regards

Re: unusal swelling

Hi Bluebell

I have the same, really only noticed it since my Mastectomy in Jan this year. My Onc & BCN have looked at it and they say it is part of my sternum, possibly slightly inflammed due to doing a little too much post op! Apparently the pain will lessen, which I guess it has but the lump is still there (it's grabbable in the cup of my hand - if that makes sense?).

Anyway that's what I was told, hope it helps. If you are concerned Iwould get your drs to check it.
