I had breast cancer 5 years ago. I have a lump near my scar and went for mammogram and ultrasound. mammogram did not show the lump but ultrasound did.I thought they would biopsy the lump like before but i have to get mri instead. This could take about 5 weeks and another 2 for results and i waited a month for the ultrasound. I have been told it is probably nothing to worry about but having to wait around 3 months to know for sure seems too long, i think i will be a wreck by then, any one else had mri after ultrasound for a breast lump?
