I had a shower the day after my mastectomy, even though I had 2 drains in. I used a cloth and just made sure I didn't rub around my wound too hard. Deodorant a must too 🙂

I had a shower in hospital after 5 days might have been sooner but I had complications.I had been washing under my arm every day and used a roll on deodorant

Sorry to bother every one but I had a macectomy last week and im frightened to wash under my arm and I smell of sweat is it ok to wash under my arm im frightened of infection xxx
