I appreciate your response and advice. Unfortunately I can't get another appointment before Friday, so I'm adopting the pragmatic approach - another few days wait won't do any harm and there's always paracetamol!

If you are still worried try and go back before friday, if its just and infection in the lymph system you will feel tired, but ask to get it checked

Hi I'm new to this so bear with me!

I started feeling unusual pain in my right breast last weekend - it got worse through the week and radiated to my right armpit.

I went to my GP on wednesday, who did an exam and felt a "fullness" - she prescribed antibiotics and explained the pain in my armpit was probably due to my lymph nodes. I have to go back to see her this Friday, but should call her if there are any changes.

Since then, the pain under my arm has worsened and I now have pain in my neck and groin (all on the right side) and feel pretty fatigued.

I know breast pain is not usually a sign of breast cancer, and I know there is no lump in my breast, but I'm really getting worried.
