Nipples inverting??

Re: Nipples inverting??

Hi Sooz

Thanks for posting about the changes to your nipple.

It’s natural that you worry when you notice a difference.

Breast changes can happen for many reasons. They may be part of normal development, hormonal changes as part of your monthly cycle (period) or due to benign conditions (not cancer). You’ll probably find your breasts change quite a bit throughout your life.

As you have noticed this change you can make an appointment with your GP to have it checked. During the current situation, this may be a phone assessment to see if anything further needs to be done. I’ve included some information on changes to breast clinic arrangements should you require a referral.

This information about what breasts might look and feel like may also be helpful for you to read.

Do call our Helpline if you would like to talk this through or have any further questions. Your call will be confidential, and the number is free from UK landlines and all mobile networks.

The number is 0808 800 6000 (Text relay prefix 18001).

Nipples inverting??

I was laying down on my back and noticed it was pretty cold in my room. My right nipple became erect and felt really stiff. I raised my shirt up to see what it was and it was inverted slightly at the tip. I kinda put both fingers on the sides and pushed it back up. This has happened before but this time made me anxious. Does anyone know if this is a sign?
