Re: Please Help!! Is this IBC??

Hi cbuckley85

Thank you for your post

Breast changes can happen for many reasons.

It is not possible to know what your breast change is and I sense you are very worried about what you have noticed.

Noticing a change doesn’t necessarily mean you have breast cancer and most breast changes are not because of cancer they can be due to benign conditions (not cancer) . But it’s important to get checked by your GP when you notice new changes.

For more details see our booklet Know your breasts: a guide to breast awareness and screening.

Do call our Helpline if you would like to talk this through or have any further questions. Your call will be confidential, and the number is free from UK landlines and all mobile networks.

The number is 0808 800 6000 (Text relay prefix 18001).

Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm and 9am -1pm on Saturday. Out of hours you can leave a message and we will call you back when we next open.

Best wishes

Please Help!! Is this IBC??

[Mod note: photo removed as per Forum guidelines]

I noticed this red mark yesterday on my left breast and I am freaking out. It doesn't hurt, but it is somewhat itchy. It doesnt seem like a bug bite to me though. I'm worried it might be IBC. I have been putting Neosporin and hydrocortisone cream on it. Does this look like anything worrying to anyone??

Top is yesterday, bottom is today.
