Went for my c t planning scan today and the machine was broken so didn’t get it . Had a chat with the radiographers and they said it would be rescheduled. They also said I would need a covid test before radiotheraphy and have to shield . I told my employer that I need time off for shielding as well as radiotherapy , they want a letter to confirming have to shield. Does anybody think the radiotherapy depRtment will give me a letter as if I ask the doctor it will cost me £20

Hi Nannyval , generally Oncology have told me to get sick notes etc from my GP , could you maybe ask the radiotherapy team to write to you outlining what is required and use this for your employer?
