Effects of Radiotherapy

Hello

Just had my first session of Radiotherapy to breast today …am on the Fast-forward 5 days course instead of 3 weeks.

My breast feels tighter …is it normal to start feeling effect so soon, is it normal to feel tightness?

I was informed of potential shoulder stiffness but not breast tightness.

I am doing all exercises as instructed and applying E45 cream.

Really appreciates any help and advice.

Hi

Although I’m having the full 15 I started getting tightness in the area being zapped about a third of the way through so suspect comparable to yours.

I would mention it to the radiologists you’ll be seeing in your treatment.  Mine ask every day if everything is ok.
