I have an expander implant, (as I was unable to use my own tissue) put in at the time of my mastectomy. I had it expanded a few times and then had my Radiotherapy a few week’s ago. Monday (26th July) will be 4 weeks and I’m still in discomfort and wondered if anyone had been deflated before the six weeks?
Any advice would be appreciated.

I saw the surgeon today and he advised not to deflate whilst the tissue is still tightening.
