Going through breast cancer treatment Radiotherapy

Hi there

 

Wondered if anyone had tried Thermography instead of traditional mammogram for their annual checks, and could let me know what they think?

I had high grade DCIS removes via lumpectomy in July 2018, then 15 sessions of rads in Oct/Nov 2018. No issues since, fingers crossed…

 

I’ve been reading a lot about it as an annual check rather than mammograms, and would be really grateful to hear anyone’s thoughts around it or if anyone has had tried it/any experiences.

Hi. I don’t know if you’ve seen the information on this link about it or the safety warning that the FDA have issued regarding it? I know it’s America and not the UK but even so, after a BC diagnosis I personally would be looking for a system of monitoring that was backed up by rigorous scientific data and proven to be effective in screening.
