In hospital, op was yesterday, not slept all night but have cried most of it. Think the anesthetic does this to me, when i started to come round I was crying in my sleep. starting to hurt a bit now and I don’t like the drain bag, luckily I got put on a private ward and have my own room. Hopefully I’ll run out of tears soon ?
Hi, I do sympathise. I had node clearance too and felt very tearful afterwards. Two anaesthetics within a short time can make you feel low and tearful - that’s what my GP said. At least you have some privacy - I was surrounded by women yelling down their mobile phones! I hope you feel better soon and get rid of the drain - they took mine out before I went home. Take all the pain relief they offer and ask for more if you need it. I hope the tears are drying up now but if not there is nothing wrong with crying. Take care xx
