Diagnosed 4 weeks ago with DCIS grade zero…found another lump in armpit which I was told yesterday was a cancerous lymph node. Waiting to hear grade and type… Sorry to off load . Having to be so positive for family and friends but deep down I fear the worst. Xx

How are you feeling?
I hope you have been able to let at least one person know how you really feel, there is nothing worse than pretending you are all right if you are not. If trying to keep positive for friends and family is making you feel worse, in what is a very anxious time for you, then don’t try to keep positive.
Friends and family will want to support you but if you are putting on a front they won’t know how to do that in an effective way.
However if you’re not ready for that yet, I’m happy to be someone you can be honest with.
I was diagnosed with High Grade DCIS at the end of August and am now 2 weeks post mastectomy waiting for the results of my sentinel lymph node biopsy.
