I’m embarrassed that this seems to be a big deal for me right now, but ! would really like to dye the grey from my hair before I start chemo. I estimate this to start in the next few weeks as dont have an oncologist appointment until the 16th of October. Im planning on trying the cold cap and from what ive read having shorter hair is more comfortable, so would like to dye and cut in the next week. I know it might still fall out but what are everyones experiences/advice on this?

I coloured my hair before chemo. I’ve had to do chemo twice as I had a recurrence. I used the cold cap the second time & coloured my short hair a week before the chemo. It’s hard not colouring it during chemo, that L’Oréal root touch up spray was such a god send. Good luck with it all. The cold cap worked very well for me on docetaxol & carboplatin xx
