Congratulations on finishing your treatment. You will feel better soon and in perfect time for the summer. Someone once told me to throw myself into my life - I think it was my surgeon back them. It was the best advice I had ever gotten. I’m here is you need to chat.
Congratulations on 20 years free of cancer! 🎉 I was diagnosed in February and had my op in March. Last week I finished my radiotherapy treatment and have felt quite poorly since, but apparently a week after treatment ends it is quite common to feel this way. I hope I’m still about in 20 years time. Keep in touch.
Hello Everyone,
I hope this message is allowed here. I just wanted to stop in to say hello. This week I am 20 years breast cancer free. I was diagnosed in 2002 with ductal carcinoma that had spread to one lymph node. I had 4 rounds of chemo followed by mastectomies, and another 4 rounds of chemo. I was a young mother at the time with two little ones at home that needed me. I was afraid and unsure what the future held. I often frequented forums like this one for support, and hope.
This is a message of hope. Treatment is hard, but you will get through it. There is a long life on the other side of breast cancer.
Warmly,
Cristina
