I received a copy of a letter from my oncologist to my surgeon yesterday, and it says that an area suspicious for lymphovascular invasion has been seen. I assume this can’t be too much of a worry given that it’s the first time I’ve heard about it!
Just wondered if any of you have had the same on your pathology report, and whether it was explained to you? From a quick scan of research articles online it seems that some people think it might not impact prognosis but other studies think it can have the same impact as having one or two lymph nodes involved…
