It's overwhelming at the start, but it is doable. Take it one bit at a time. I was expecting just a mastactomy, then needed lymph node clearance, chemo, radio etc. I've now just finished chemo and about to start radio, so the end is in sight 🙂
Do your exercises after surgery and try not to focus too far ahead. All the best.
It's so hard when you can't sleep and things keep going over and over in your head. There's not many people to talk to at this time of night. I've had such a rollercoaster over last few weeks. Initially diagnosed with dcis, that would be gone with mastectomy, to now having a large IDC with lymph nodes, and needing lymph node clearance, chemo, radiotherapy and hormone treatment. I don't feel like I'll ever get a night sleep again
