Thank you for your support.
Hi Snow, sorry you find yourself here but glad you’ve posted as you will find lots of support from people who understand what you are going through. I felt like I’d be psychologically hit by a truck when I was diagnosed in March 2017. I then had chemo, surgery and radiotherapy over a 9 month period and now getting back on with life again. Please let us know if you have any concerns and feel free to rant or have a meltdown as we’re pretty good at picking people back up off the floor. I think it can be tough to let on to your loved ones know just how scared you feel so I found coming on here was a safe space for that kind of support. Sending hugs. Xx
Sorry you have to join our friendly forum . . . . but for me, a mixture of disbelief and shock - the shock made me burst into tears in the consulting room, and I don't do that kind of thing?
You may want to write more when you are ready, and then find that we all have a story to tell about how we came here -
but everyone tries to help each other, and there are many 'headings' and 'threads' as you gradually network here. I was diagnosed March 2018, and I tend to dip in and out these days - but you will find some fantastic ladies here, always ready to help.
I wish you well - and remember, we never close here, chances are, there's always someone up and about at any time of day or night. Hugs.
Just been diagnosed with breast cancer and would like to know how people felt when they were first diagnosed.
